Position Title: Counselor
Reports To: Director of Counseling Services
Location: [Community Services Center Location]
Employment Type: Full-time/Part-time
Overview:
The Counselor is responsible for providing direct mental health counseling services
to clients at the Community Services Center. This role includes developing treatment
plans, providing counseling sessions, and maintaining accurate client records. The
Counselor will work collaboratively with other counseling staff and support the
overall mission of the center to promote clients' personal development and
psychological well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Counseling:
● Provide counseling sessions, including crisis intervention.
● Develop personalized treatment plans, and maintain accurate and
confidential client records.
● Provide tele-counseling and other services, adapting to changing service
delivery channels as needed.
Consultation and Supervision:
● Offer consultations and supervision based on training and experience.
● Participate in clinical peer supervision meetings and seek consultation as
necessary.
● Refer clients to external specialists or services when needed, following
discussion with the Counseling Director.
Policy Adherence and Administration:
● Follow all Center policies and procedures, including charging fees according
to the policy.
● Maintain client records in compliance with internal and external regulatory
requirements.
● Ensure full compliance with internal policies and procedures.
Performance and Ethics:
● Participate in quarterly review sessions and inform the Counseling Director of
client emergencies or complaints.

● Adhere to ethical guidelines of the APA, Taiwan Counseling Psychologists’
Law, and CSC counseling team standards.
● Ensure licenses are up to date and comply with Taiwan regulations.
Change Initiatives and Digital Transformation:
● Engage in the Center's change initiatives and ongoing digital transformation
efforts.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
● Licensure as a Taiwanese Professional Counseling Psychologist.
● Compliance with Taiwan regulations.
● Fluent in both English and Mandarin.
● Experience providing counseling services. Proven track record of effective
counseling practice.
● Experience with group counseling and workshop facilitation a plus
● Experience in crisis intervention and management.
● Team player with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative
environment.
● Commitment to the Center’s mission to promote clients' personal
development and psychological well-being.
● Adaptability to provide consultation services through various channels.
Preferred Qualifications:
● Multicultural experience.
